The West Thumb right on the edge of the Yellowstone Lake was full of bubbling mud pots and underwater geysers. At every turn there was a new set of features to look at and everything was active and moving from all the snow melt. We saw many buffalo from a distance, but this guy was right up next to the car... Luckily, no buffalo traffic jams but we got to see a lot of them up close.
