mom's boots

AB loves tromping around in mom's spring boots... keeping these boots out by the door keeps the rain away ;) - the minute I put them away it starts raining again!
Today the sun finally came out full force - and in a be careful what you wish for style - it spiked into the 90s!  We hit the Monkey Joe's bounce zone for nearly two hours of nonstop fun (and a nice area for KC and I to cuddle in the air conditioning).

moving sale

Where does all the stuff come from?  In the five years since we moved our Pod units from Tucson to Providence then to Seekonk, we've accumulated probably triple the amount of stuff.  We had a two day garage sale - Day one kicked off strong with nearly two hundred dollars earned in the first two hours...  then Sunday rolled around and Aiden paced back and forth singing, "oh where, oh where are our customers!"  The few people that did show up got a bunch of free stuff ;)  I kept my rule that if it goes out, it stays out and the rest was donated... that's a big accomplishment  when you're sentimental like I am.  Aiden was so good about selling toys and only wanted to keep two items - a bear and a nursing pump bottle.  He carried it around for two days filling it with sunshine milk and then asking to be fed... all the while wearing his pirate hat.

arm's reach

I missed my little arm cuddler today when I left him for the longest amount of awake time yet - 3 hours! - to photograph the commencement ceremony (they paid me to come out of retirement for the afternoon).   My arm was inclined to hold my camera in its crook because it was lonely.   I was happy that everything went smoothly as my little guy took his first bottle of pumped milk from dad, although I was very uncomfy by the time I got home (especially because there were so many crying little kids at the ceremony).  I think I'd much rather have this cute mug at arm's reach....
Showing off the double chin of chub...

tie guy

Sporting the faux tie  - Thanks S family!
Hope this funny little guy brings a smile to my mom's face as she relaxes
and recovers from her ER trip for a bad allergic reaction... stay well!

ice cream

Ice cream, we all scream for ICE CREAM!
We had a fun hair cut trip to SnipIts the day after these shots.
Aiden does perfect the bed head look without any 'product'!  teehee.
P.S. He's loving this Dinosaur Cafe long sleeve shirt lately - He keeps asking to go there and wonders what Dinosaur tastes like - He thinks it will taste like Five Guys burgers ;)

sock hop

We love library family night, and this one turned out to be pretty wild and crazy - Let's just say that beach balls bounced off sleeping KC's diapered bum and Aiden was a sweat monster by the end of the Mickey Mouse parade "grand finale!"  The excitement was covered by the Seekonk Patch so you can enjoy a full peek here: http://seekonk.patch.com/articles/viewfinder-sock-hop-50s-style#photo-6256876

crafting

Still crafting around here - The robots to draw on were a huge hit.  He drew a tv screen on one of them highlighting his beloved Tom & Jerry.
Getting ready for the big move helping mom clear out the extra cereal.

tootsies

My six favorite sets of toes ;)
Look at those wrinkles and curled baby toes when KC was teeny tiny...from the first week I think.

golf hockey

Aiden was so excited for his little buddies' putt putt party at a golf course.  We hadn't been to play anytime Aiden could remember, so he declared when they handed him his putter, "This is my very first time playing HOCKEY all by myself!" I showed him how to hold the putter a bunch of times, but he insisted on the approach above.   He did manage to get it in on his own that way, but it did look like he was playing hockey ;)

elf hunters

Some extra shots with Aiden's favorite elf hunting friend.  Jacko Blacko, the elf friend (they helped find his elf hat) is still making appearances here.  He wants to go back to the elf forest - thanks to Lara for making it so much fun to be out in the sun the other day!
Any guesses what KC was up to in the shot on the left - That is a startled face from Lara ;)

hippo mat

"Hey Mom, I love my hippo mat, but that swing I could do without..."

Are you looking at me and my monkey feet!?

visitors

We've been lucky to introduce Keaton to a bunch of our friends in this area.  A visit is a nice pick me up on a rainy day or a good excuse to milk the most out of a nice sunny day...
I even swung over to my old work yesterday to bring some baby cheer on a rainy, icky day.  My favorite coworkers said it was just what the doctor ordered.
Thanks to everyone that came by to share some cuddles.  Here are a few visitors I snagged photos of:

More KC in his happy hippo shirt - I need to take some in better light so you can see his blue eyes...

monkey

Our little monkey man is sporting his Prince William hair style (it will grow back blond I bet)  and still loves to throw out the half smile (which I almost caught in the shot on the right).  He can curve that smile on either side, take your pick ;)  I know the full giggle face is coming soon and he's just teasing us... what a teasing monkey.

trucks!

We all cruised over to the East Providence Touch-a-Truck to watch Aiden smile in front of a few steering wheels. While I juggled the baby, I managed to squeeze in a few iphone photos.
