Georgetown pulls out all the stops for their faculty family Christmas party at the President's office. They have a giant spread of cookies, cakes, and candies - my personal favorite this year was the gingerbread whoopie pie with lemon cream! The boys were mostly excited by the giant lollipops. They also have two really yummy non-alcoholic holiday sangrias - the currant one was Keaton's favorite. After we sipped and munched, we cruised down Santa Claus Lane to visit the big guy himself. They give the kiddos their Santa photos to decorate in the craft room, which happens to be filled with more food and live carolers. This year the juggler was a fun addition. We then went to the auditorium area for the tree lighting (normally outside in the quad) and listened to each of the acapella and chorus groups perform. It was a fun evening despite the rain - one evening earlier and it would've been 70 degrees!
