This guy loved the birthday party at the fire station. They invited them on a tour of the whole station (even the bedrooms and kitchen!) and all the kids were hyped. Aiden somehow kept it together when the fireman slid down the real pole. He let the goofball loose when he saw all his funny faces in the shiny caps on the truck.
He started taking piano lessons this week, and the teacher invited him for an extra lesson because she could tell how jazzed he was. In two days, he memorized one of the seven songs that she assigned and earned two stickers for Mary's Lamb! He has more enthusiasm for piano in a week than I may have had in my full eight years of piano - which makes me inordinately happy! He is learning to read music this week.
In between very diligently practicing his piano, long legs cruised the neighborhood on his scooter on our fluke 70 degree December day. He also helped make our new fireplace banner - after Give Thanks then Be Merry!
