at the zoo

Aiden went to the zoo again this week with Rebecca and his buddy Tyler and his mom (twice in one week!). We got a season pass with Rebecca as a card holder so that she can take him and bring a guest. When I asked Aiden if he had a fun at the zoo he started signing friend and saying Ty, Ty, Ty-er. Then he pointed at Rebecca and said Ba, to be sure I knew that Ba was there too.

Tyler is Aiden's little buddy from school. They were closest in age, but Tyler is a few months older than Aiden. Tyler's mom brings him to Gymboree so they still get to see each other twice a week even though they both left school in January. It's fun to see how they've bonded and they definitely are buddies. They liked to try to hug when they'd see each other at Gymboree, but they have to be sidetracked from that because it ended up being a body slamming contest. So, now they greet each other with a hi and the chase game ensues. They were holding hands walking around at the zoo so that everyone would stick together.
