bye bye south street

We took another quick trip this weekend up to visit J's Nana as she gets ready to move to Arizona! We had trouble getting Aiden to sit still for a photo, but he was happy to help pretend to take photos and check out the old photos of Dada and "the boy" (J's twin, Uncle Matt). He finally understood that the old photos were actually photos of his dad as a little boy. He also learned that acorns make little trees as he climbed up and down the old "hill mountain" in the woods next to Nana's house (which is actually a nice little barely noticeable slope that J loved to charge up to the top as a kid). I think everyone was feeling a little sentimental. That was the house where J and his brother came home from the hospital as babies, and it's hard to believe that he was able to step foot in it 30 years later. I know Nana will love her new adobe in Tucson, but South Street will always carry so many memories.
