This semester I did a ton of new lens work. I learned to use some manual lens functions that I've always been curious about. I was especially excited by the Lensbaby. My project scope included taking photos from the perspective of a baby. Human eyesight develops over the first three months. I was fascinated by how eyesight develops and I tried to translate the focal range and color acquisition into my images. Here is the final video that I presented to my class and all of our special guests last night:

My final print presentation was in the shape of an eyechart printed on clear plastic. You can click on this image to see it larger.

So impressed! You are awesome! What is the official title of the RISD degree?
Cool stuff Lauren...I can't believe you only have a few more classes to go too - yeah!
It's just the RISD Digital Photography certificate program, but they take things very seriously for a certificate - 15-17 courses for 432 contact hours! Whew, it will feel good to finish - My advisor was telling me the other day that the best part is that once you graduate you are officially considered a RISD alumni so you can participate in their massive art sale each term. She said that everyone "cleans up" at those events. That's good motivation ;)
