toys on ice

This weekend was a pretty low key, last weekend of the summer!  We went to a housewarming party.  This party was packed with kiddos, unlike the last where Aiden was the only kid invited.  He was pretty happy to see all the kids because I think he thought parties (where there weren't birthday cakes) were a drag.

Also, the highlight of the weekend, Aiden had earned enough stickers on his good sleeping chart to go to Toy Story 3 On Ice!  I've learned that there are always coupons for better seats for these shows, so we had pretty decent seats.  We arrived a bit early and Aiden was so patient waiting for the show to start.  He bounced up and down shouting in his seat for nearly the whole first half.  Then as the second hour of this two hour long show hit, he slowed down and had wide tired eyes the rest of the show.  There were a few ridiculous scenes with Barbie and Ken where the ice skating just throws it over the top.  Disney sure does know how to put on a show.  At the end, Aiden jumped out of his seat to dance.
