family dance

We finally made it back to the family dance hosted by a local contra dancing group (Aiden's teacher is a member).  It kept falling on the awkward weekend when J was away or we had other plans, but I knew Aiden would love to go back.  He just loves following along with the caller and it's just such a good time.  The walk to the ballroom annex takes you over a gorge and through the Glen Echo park. These huggie brothers were ready to groove and were testing some moves on the bridge.   It was a nice small group and I think Aiden's favorite is the sashay and the silly walk in between finding a partner. There was a dance where KC even kept up, but he lost steam well before Aiden so he headed out for some more swinging at the playground.
