glen echo

We cruised up to Glen Echo to enjoy their carousel, playground, and park nature and arts center.  I love the old art deco style buildings from the 1930s amusement park buildings.  The kids were disappointed the "cupcake houses" (aka. Yurts from a botched project called Humanisphere) were full of pottery, not cake.  The arcade housed a photo exhibit and no games.  The candy house was full of displays and animal fur.  The ballroom did host dancing...
