The off season in Vermont means that restaurants close early if they are open at all (which we learned the hard way the night before), but also it means street festivals! There were two art fest type deals going on in towns that my folks and Aiden cruised through the day that Liz and I shot the wedding. Aiden was well-sugared with some lemonade and this was even before the trip to the Ben and Jerry's factory. Vermont is so charming in the summer, and my parents are already scheming to go back.
