Today will start a week long look back at everything we were doing a week ago in Arizona! Even J was making fun of the detail, but I like to remember and I barely can now ;) It was a nice long trip, full of lotsa memories.
Saturday - Day 2:
We headed over to Tubac on Saturday where they were hosting the Art Walk, which means that artists are out for you to see them work. Aiden had never seen so many colorful pots and wanted to tell us about each animal. He met the wood carvers and picked out some postcards. We ate lunch at a new place with all these cool glass droplets hanging on the ceiling. Aiden was asleep in the stroller for the second half, but we found a harmonica just for him (so now he can slobber his own instead of Grandpa’s from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame).
Then we moseyed on over to my friend R’s loft for dinner with some old friends. I was struck that it had been too long since we’d met there before (right after I became pregnant). R was so sweet to host us and we hope to repay the kindness someday (soon!). Aiden was absolutely amazed that they have a train running right past their back patio - Every two year old’s dream! She had a present hunt for Aiden with little tissue wrapped treats – googly eyed dino stickers, a peter rabbit book, and a fun wooden froggy on a pencil case – that little froggy isn’t attached anymore and is a new favorite ;) It was such a relaxed awesome time to catch up with old friends. Thanks again!
Here's a Saturday rundown (thanks Magic Movie for reducing all my snippets):
