Lauren will be taking a break from blogging for the next few days. At least, in the next five minutes, we will be going to the hospital in the hopes of taking such a hiatus. Cheers, J.
It is now almost 1:00 a.m.(Saturday, Nov. 3)and we just got a call from J that Lauren has been admitted to the hospital. She did break her water at home and the baby will be born today! We're trying to get some rest, but will be taking off shortly for Massachusetts. The grandparents-to-be are are now the Grandparents-soon-to be. Yippeeee!
Thanks, Cyndi, for the news! 11/3/07 is a wonderful date for a birthday. You know how I am with 3s and 9s ... or maybe you don't. Anyhow, I love number 3, and I'm all for you becoming a grandmother today! Keep us posted ... and take good care of everybody. Have a safe trip and don't let Jeffy drive TOO fast!
UPDATE: Aiden was born at 5:40 and weighed 8 lbs. 3 oz. He is very healthy and has thick curly hair!! Mom and baby are doing very well. Lauren's doctor called her a "super star," but we all knew that already! ; )
Congratulations, L & J!!!!! and A!!! (you're here, little guy!!!) So happy for y'all.... Can't wait to see pictures whenever you get settled in. Hooray! ~Amanda
another update: Aiden was 19.5 inches and his hair is light colored and he has blonde eye brows and eye lashes. He has a good appetite and doesn't cry much but makes adorable little noises ; )
Light-colored hair?? Blond??? A la Grandpa Jeff? The genes are pretty amazing, aren't they. Of course, he could darken with age, but what fun it'll be to see who he becomes. It's so very exciting for all of us. Thanks again for the update, Liz! We all are so anxious for photos!!
