J has a community of online guitar buddies that only occasionally talk about guitars. From my perspective, it seems that more often they talk politics, share family stories, and the occasional dish on news stories in their area (like one of them lives on the street of that pregnant ohio woman that was murdered last week and said the boyfriend was a nightmare). These guys come from all over the country and you name it one of them has done it. They do nice things for each other like chip in to buy a guitar for a guy who lost his son to cancer. I day dream about them all having a big reunion and actually meeting up even though I'm betting that wouldn't occur to any of them. So, J posted that he was having a boy and mentioned that it is really clear to the technician and to us. Here is a response that made me chuckle:
"Oh...and by the way, my youngest child showed one of those big...um...well, you know...on the ultrasound. We put away all the girly stuff left over from our first child...a girl...and kept the greens and yellows, etc. We made up a blue nursery. Picked out a name, David Gordon...and when it sprouted...lo and behold...it didn't have one of those...um..well, you know...at all. It had one of those OTHER um...well, you know. But she does have exceedingly long fingers and toes."
I guess anything is possible ;) So, it's a good thing that we like blue and it won't matter if Aiden turns out to be an Addison (or whatever we may have ended up with - Madeline was a landslide winner in the voting scheme by the way). I'm happy with a healthy baby with any length fingers ;)
