Somehow Aiden morphed groundhogs and beavers together and was making me laugh every time he mixed them up (I think because he has two very similar books, one about a beaver and the other about a groundhog). "Oooh, yum a beaver cupcake!" I think these treats were the Groundhog's Day highlight for Aiden. I made pumpkin muffins, used cinnamon pudding, green sprinkles, shredded wheat for the dirt, a mini rice cake for the body, and chocolate peanut butter to stick down the swirl bran cereal eyes and almond sliver mouth. The best version of a groundhog I could come up with with stuff in our cabinet - but I guess I was close if it was mistaken for a beaver ;)
