valentine's cookies

We made some desserts to bring to Aiden's school's Valentine Family Dance on Friday (more on that soon!).  The sugar cookies actually worked this time, but we kept a batch of "unpresentables" for Aiden to throw the rest of the sugar all over and smother in chocolate.

I love looking back on what we were up to last year and making the cheek chub assessment - Oh, look how much chubbier and babyish those cheeks were this time last year - We did have some pancakes for pancake day today - but without photos ;)
